Ministry of Mines, Government of India has formulated National Mineral Policy 2019. The new policy aims at bringing greater transparency, better regulation & enforcement and higher sustainable approach in mining operations in the country. It is viewed as a guide that would usher a new era of growth for the Indian mining industry.
In this context, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce Industry (FICCI) along with Ministry of Mines, Government of India and Mining Engineers’ Association of India (Supporting Association) is organising a conference titled National Mineral Policy 2019: A Landscape of New Opportunities on June 13, 2019 (Thursday) at Federation House, Tansen Marg, New Delhi.
The key objective of the said conference is to discuss and deliberate on key features of the new policy, its likely impact on the performance of mining industry and the expectations of industry stakeholders from the same.
