Odisha Travel Bazaar in oct to promote tourism

The Department of Tourism in association with the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) would organise an Odisha Travel Bazaar (OTB) from October 15 to 17 at hotel Mayfair here. The basic objective of the Odisha Tourism is to create adequate infrastructure, attract more tourists and lengthen their stay in the State and promote and market its products in the source markets as a preferred destinations. To achieve the objective, multiple events have been lined up like the IATO’s annual convention from September 7 to 10 and Odisha Travel Bazaar in October.
About 40 foreign tour operators, 20 inbound operators and 10 domestic tour operators and selected airline operators are likely to participate I te OTB. This is an exclusive B2B event of hosted buyers and sellers where 56 stakeholders from the State would take part said an official release on Thursday.To promote the event nationally, a road show was organised in New Delhi on August 22 and one more would be held in Mumbai.
A dedicated website (www.odishatravelbazar.com) and a logo for the Odisha Travel Bazaar 2017 to brand the event were launched nationally and internationally on Thursday.
