FICCI applauds the Government's strong vision and commitment to achieving the SDG targets by 2030. FICCI's endeavor is to complement and support this vision through a collaborative approach. Under the vision of, FICCI Task Force on Sustainable Agriculture thrives to “catalyzing the development of sustainable and climate-smart agriculture through technology infusion, developing appropriate linkages and developing a conducive policy ecosystem”. FICCI recognizes that embracing climate-smart agricultural practices is not just a necessity but a strategic imperative to safeguard our agricultural sector against climate change impacts and fulfill our national and global sustainability commitments.

FICCI is organizing a "Conference On Climate Smart Agriculture" on 19 October 2023 with the overarching goal of facilitating an inclusive platform for thought leaders, experts, and industry pioneers to collectively explore and promote innovative approaches, collaborative partnerships that will enhance India's agricultural resilience in the face of climate change. This initiative is a testament to FICCI Task force on Sustainable Agriculture commitment to making agriculture in India more resilient to climate change, while fostering innovation, collaboration, and sustainable practices across the industry.
