GST has been a game changer for the Indian economy. The buoyancy in the GST collections is an indicator of the success that GST has brought into the system and reflects the taxpayer-friendly nature of GST regime. The role of technology in GST being a success is paramount as Technology is the chief enabler for improving compliance under GST regime, curbing tax evasion and simplifying compliances.

In this context, FICCI is planning to organise a Summit “Emerging Environment and Role of Technology” at Federation House, Tansen Marg, New Delhi on November 22, 2023. The main theme of the Summit is ‘Role of technology in evolvement of tax function’. The deliberations would be mainly around Role of technology in the tax function, significance of data management and analytics in tax compliance, Role of technology in identifying tax risks and Improving the effectiveness of tax function with new age technologies.
