Civil helicopters play a vital role in the development of the economy. The global demand for both civil & military helicopters record a new high, which enhances the scope of helicopters industry in India. Today, with the advancement in technology, modern helicopters can be used in various ways. The requirement of helicopters for civil use is also sizeable with growing requirements in tourism, mining, corporate travel, air ambulance, homeland security and air charter etc. Thus, the summit is being organised with an objective to boost the helicopter industry in India.
FICCI with the support of Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, and Pawan Hans Ltd. are organizing the third edition of Helicopter Summit on 8th October 2021 in a Phygital (Physical +Digital) Format at Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The theme of the summit is “India@75: Expediting the Growth of Indian Helicopter Industry and Enhancing Air Connectivity”. The previous two editions have been a successful endeavour.
The summit will have the presence of senior officials from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and the entire ecosystem of the aviation industry including the operators, MRO providers, regulators, Financing & Leasing companies. It will be platform to bring together all the stakeholders of the industry and exchange their ideas to take the sector to the highest level.
