As part of the priorities for FICCI this year for Make in India, the Manufacturing Committee is organizing "Go & See" events for the industry at institutions that have demonstrated exemplary adoption of Operational Excellence, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Digital, Advanced Analytics, and Industry 4.0 in manufacturing to realize significant business improvements and transform ways of working.

The intent is to encourage industry players such as yourselves to kickstart their own operational excellence and digital transformation journeys, and forge connections with organizations that have excelled at these efforts to foster knowledge sharing and mentorship. In the series of our Go & See events, next visit would be hosted by Dakin Airconditioning at their plant at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, on 2nd August 2024.

Daikin India Pvt Ltd is wholly owned subsidiary of Daikin Industries Ltd, which is one of the leading global manufacturers of both commercial and residential air-conditioning systems. They have an automated and centrally controlled comprehensive quality control system that manages quality and production data to facilitate high quality production within scheduled time.

During the visit, delegates will experience:

• PDS Training Facility: A world-class centre upskilling the youth of India with Japanese manufacturing practices, including safety and skills training for all new employees.

• Device Factory Tour: An opportunity to observe the latest high precision machinery used in producing one of the world’s most efficient air conditioning compressors.

For MSME*: Rs 10,000 per GST per delegate

For Others: Rs 15,000 per GST per delegate

Kindly note that final selection of the delegate is subject to approval to Daikin's guidelines and registration is on a first come first served basis due to limited seats available for the mission. The payment for the event needs to be made before the event date for confirmation. In view of the limited seats for training, it is necessary to have the delegate fee in advance so that equal opportunity be given to those who are attending. Travel and boarding expenses are to be borne by the delegates themselves.
