'GOAL 2018' 5th International Convention on Football Business on 23rd January 2018

NEW DELHI, 16 January 2018: FICCI in support with All India Football Federation is organizing the 5thedition of GOAL- an International convention on Football Business, on 23rd January 2018 at Federation House, New Delhi.
'FICCI GOAL 2018' is the biggest convention on the business of football hosted in India and brings together hundreds of key influencers from the global and Indian football industry for one day of strategic dialogue around this beautiful game.
The initiative was established by FICCI and AIFF in 2013 to support the development of the Indian football industry and promote strategic dialogue around the game. During the summit various issues and policy development related to Football like Effective Implementation of Policy on National & State Level, Football as business & Post U-17 World Cup impact will be discussed. FICCI will also release knowledge report on Football.
Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Sports & Youth Affairs Minister will give the vision address in the evening while Shri Rahul Bhatnagar, Secretary-Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports will give Key note address during the inaugural session.
With India gaining global attention after hosting the FIFA U17 World Cup, eminent speakers from the football fraternity will also be involved in the strategic discussion on how to harness the momentum the game has gained after hosting the showpiece event last October.
Other dignitaries who will be addressing the gathering at GOAL 2018 are Mr. Kushal Das, General Secretary, AIFF; Mr. Deepak Jacob, President & General Counsel - STAR India & Chairman, FICCI Sports Committee; Mr. Bhaichung Bhutia, Former Captain, Indian Football Team; Mr. Javier Ceppi, Tournament Director, FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 and Mr. Richard Hood, Head of Player Development, AIFF.
