FICCI Reaction on PLI Announcement

NEW DELHI, 25 February 2021: "Approval of PLI schemes for pharmaceuticals and IT Hardware sector yesterday, is yet another milestone in the strategy to deepen our manufacturing and technology base. FICCI hails the announcements and would also promote these amongst the investor community to attract both global and national champions for these schemes" said Mr Uday Shankar, President, FICCI on the PLI announcements.

"FICCI would also like to compliment the Government and Hon'ble Prime Minister for the quick turnaround of these measures to capitalize on the opportunity available for Indian entrepreneurs to not only be Atmanirbhar, but also produce for the world," said Mr Shankar.
