FICCI welcomes cabinet decision on continuation of RoSCTL scheme for Garments and Made-ups

NEW DELHI, 14 July 2021: Welcoming the Cabinet's decision for continuation of RoSCTL scheme for garments and made-ups till March 2024, Mr Uday Shankar, President, FICCI said, "FICCI thanks the Hon'ble Prime Minister for this important announcement that not only provides stability but also a level playing field to our exporters in garment and made-up sector by making them more competitive. We are confident that this would ensure higher share for India in global trade of textiles and clothing in coming years."

"Garments and made-ups are high employment and export intensive sectors. There is also an immense scope for Start-ups in the sector. Cabinet decision for extension of RoSCTL scheme shall also help in promoting Start-ups and employment at a large scale," said Mr Shankar.
