FICCI congratulates Philippe Varin and Harsh Pati Singhania on their election as Chair and First-Vice Chair of the ICC

NEW DELHI, 13 June 2024: At the recently held World Council meeting of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the new leadership was announced where international industry leaders Mr Philippe Varin and Mr Harsh Pati Singhania were elected as Chair and First-Vice Chair respectively among others.

 

FICCI congratulates Mr Philippe Varin and Mr Harsh Pati Singhania on being elected as Chair and First-Vice Chair of the ICC respectively and wishes them all the success during their tenure.

 

Mr Singhania is Director of J.K. Organization and Chairman & Managing Director of JK Paper Ltd. FICCI has a very longstanding association with J.K. organization for many decades. Mr Singhania has also served as Past President of FICCI and ICC India – an allied body of FICCI.

 

This development will surely strengthen the FICCI and ICC relationship as both the organizations will continue to work together towards achieving common objectives including facilitating global trade and investments, trade digitalization, supporting action on climate change as also bringing Global South perspective on multilateral platforms.
