Future of Employment and New Skills in GCC Countries

Indians comprise a sizeable number of the expatriate population in the GCC countries. The greater numbers of professionals and entrepreneurs have joined the GCC labour market, a majority, estimated at 8 %, continue to be employed in unskilled and low-skilled work. There is an urgent need to facilitate skilled labour to contribute to the economy and work with dignity and respect.
The study was successful conduct of Overseas Employers Conference organized by Norka in association with FICCI on 12 October 2021 and the subsequent intimation received from NORKA (Non-Resident Keralite's Affairs dated) 02 November 2021 to submit a study proposal for Overseas Employers Connectivity on a long term prospective.
The comprehensive study comprises a detailed proposed action plan which includes Kerala's Economy and International Migration, Need of Reforms in Education& Skilling, Technological Disruption, Future Employments in GCC Countries Outlook, Key Employers and Opportunities in GCC Countries, Future Employments Sectors and Related Occupations.
