The Task force on ESG was set up to help mainstream ESG criteria by sensitizing manufacturing/operating companies about the evolving ESG landscape and advocating the need to subscribe to ESG parameters for long term value creation.

The objective is to help FICCI membership realize that focus on ESG is a business imperative and not just a reporting requirement or a mandate from investors/capital providers.

The activities under the Task Force include identifying best practices adopted by businesses targeted at benefitting their stakeholders; document and present those to FICCI membership, encouraging them to adopt such best practices.
