FICCI is planning to mount the Indian Industry Defence Mission to Mini Defence Expo Cum Defence Industry Symposium in Malaysia is scheduled on 16 January 2025 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The defence relations between India and Malaysia have considerably improved in the last few years, with an increased impetus in the defence industry collaboration. During the recent visit by Hon’ble PM of Malaysia to India, both sides agreed to further enhance this cooperation. In order to tap into the growing potential for Indian defence exports in Malaysia, the Defence Wing at High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur in association with FICCI is planning to organise a ‘Mini defence Expo Cum Defence Industry Symposium.

The focus of the Malaysian Armed Forces where Indian defence industries can participate beneficially include Naval vessels and their spare parts, long range radars, missiles, UAVs, EW equipment, communication equipment, vehicles and their spare parts, aircrafts and their spares, helicopters, ammunition (all types), protective gears, cyber security equipment, MRO of existing Malaysian equipment and systems
