New provisions to benefit Indian skilled workers
NEW DELHI, 21 December 2018: FICCI welcomes the new provisions of the UK Immigration Whitepaper on inviting skilled workforce into the country.
Terming the new provisions as 'Pragmatic', Mr Sandip Somany, President, FICCI said, "At a time when UK Government is working overtime to cushion the impact of Brexit, the document, which is expected to be implemented in letter and spirit by 2021, would immeasurably benefit the Indian companies and employees doing business in the country".
"The new system, when implemented, is going to be equitable and fast while providing level-playing field to EU and non-EU citizens seeking top-end assignments and skilled jobs in the UK," he added.
