In this Digital Age, Data Protection and Privacy have become one of the crucial areas for businesses as well as the Government of India. Further considering its multisectoral impact, and rapid developments in the policy front, businesses need to implement a data privacy principle that adheres to international as well as local privacy laws and data protection requirements. Considering the same, FICCI has proactively taken a step and has formed a Task Force on Privacy and Data Protection. The prime objective of this task force is to work around the areas of the Personal Data Protection Bill, Non-Personal Data Governance Framework, among other policy-related matters around the Data Protection and Privacy landscape. The task force will also support our members to hear and understand this rapidly developing policy environment.
