Swachh Industrial Park Awards, 2025 announced during FICCI’s 98th AGM & Annual Convention

November 28, 2025

NEW DELHI, 28 November 2025: FICCI today felicitated the winners of the second edition of the Swachh Industrial Park Awards 2025 at its 98th Annual General Meeting and Annual Convention.

Instituted in response to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s call for Swachhta in industrial areas, the Awards build on the decade-long momentum of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and aim to accelerate measurable sustainability outcomes across industrial parks nationwide.

The inaugural edition, held last year, recognised public industrial parks that demonstrated excellence in cleanliness, waste management, and sustainable operations. While presenting the awards last year, during FICCI’s 97th AGM, Hon’ble Minister for Commerce & Industry Shri Piyush Goyal underscored the strong link between cleanliness, economic growth, and job creation. The Hon’ble Minister also commended FICCI’s robust evaluation framework and encouraged the expansion of the Awards to include private industrial parks and SEZs alongside government-operated parks.

The second edition of the Awards was launched in association with the FICCI Centre for Sustainability Leadership, dedicated to promoting cleaner, greener, and more sustainable industrial ecosystems across India. This year, 130 industrial parks from 18 states registered for the Awards.

The evaluation framework, developed by FICCI in consultation with an independent jury with PwC as Knowledge Partner and GEPIL as Green Partner, assessed participating parks across three key pillars: Environmental Sustainability, Waste Management, and Infrastructure. Based on rigorous assessment including site visits, 12 states were shortlisted for awards.

The winners were felicitated by the FICCI President Mr Harsha Vardhan Agarwal, President-Elect Mr Anant Goenka, Past President Ms Naina Lal Kidwai and Director General Ms Jyoti Vij.

Through its two editions, the Swachh Industrial Park Awards reaffirm FICCI’s commitment to fostering cleaner, greener, and more resilient industrial ecosystems, thereby contributing to long-term economic growth and climate-resilient development.
