FICCI organised an Awareness Programme on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on 3 July 2026 at HISDA Training Hall, Hosur, to sensitise industry representatives and business stakeholders to the importance of intellectual property protection.
The programme featured a special address by the President of HISDA and technical presentations by Surana & Surana International Attorneys on the fundamentals of Intellectual Property Rights, patent protection and filing procedures, and trademark protection and filing procedures.
The programme concluded with an interactive Q&A session, providing participants with an opportunity to clarify their queries and gain a better understanding of intellectual property protection. The initiative highlighted the importance of IPR awareness in helping businesses safeguard their innovations, inventions, and brands.
