Road Safety in India: Navigating through nuances
Road traffic injuries and fatalities have continued to grow in India at an alarming rate. In fact, it is the top cause of fatalities for the age group of 5-29 years in India. Converted to monetary terms, losses from road safety incidents are estimated to be around 3% of India’s GDP.
