FICCI Kerala State Council, in collaboration with FICCI Gujarat State Council, facilitated the visit of an Industry Delegation from Kerala to GIFT City on 10 June 2026. The delegation comprised around 17 Senior officials from various sectors, including FinTech, NBFCs, Medical Devices, Education, Food & Agro, and IT.

The interaction was chaired by Mr. Sanjay Kaul, I.A.S., MD & CEO, GIFT City Ltd., who highlighted the unique value proposition of GIFT City and the opportunities it offers for investment, innovation, and industry collaboration. The delegation also visited the Deakin University (Australia) campus at GIFT City and participated in B2B interactions with representatives from financial institutions, investment entities etc. Delegates also had interactions with Bank of Baroda, HSBC, and an investment entity -Aditya Birla Group,  to explore potential partnerships.

FICCI Teams also had an interaction with the Gujarat Maritime Board for the development of Coastal Cargo between Kerala and Gujarat, connecting all minor and major ports in Gujarat and Kerala, the challenges thereof, and the possible areas of more collaboration between Gujarat Maritime Board and Kerala Maritime Board.
