The Ports & Shipping sector, previously part of the FICCI Committee on Transport Infrastructure (covering Roads & Highways, Ports & Shipping, and Railways), was established as an independent Committee in 2026. The FICCI Committee on Ports & Shipping brings together senior leaders from across the maritime ecosystem, encompassing industry stakeholders, policymakers, government agencies, and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The Committee represents a wide spectrum of domains, including shipbuilding, port-led modernisation, transhipment, cargo operations, and decarbonisation.
