Taskforce on Innovative Crop Nutrition
Recognizing the critical role of innovative crop nutrition in ensuring sustainable agricultural growth and food security in India, FICCI established the Taskforce on Innovative Crop Nutrition to drive transformative change through a strategic and collaborative approach.
The Taskforce seeks to facilitate the adoption of advanced and sustainable plant nutrition solutions, including biologicals and biostimulants, while strengthening quality control systems and promoting domestic production to enhance self-reliance. It aims to encourage balanced fertilizer use, address the environmental impact of conventional practices, and foster effective public-private partnerships to optimize the agricultural supply chain.
Additionally, the Taskforce will work to align agricultural practices with international standards to boost India’s global competitiveness in fruit and vegetable exports.
