The Ministry of AYUSH along with Ayush Export Promotion Council and FICCI is organizing an SCO B2B Conference & National Arogya Summit on Traditional Medicine from 2nd - 5th March 2023 at Radisson Blu Hotel, Guwahati, Assam.

At the summit of Heads of State held at Samarkand on 16th September, 2022, considering the significant potential in Traditional Systems of Medicine in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, all SCO Member States agreed to create an Expert Working Group (EWG) on Traditional Medicine (TM). India being the Chair for SCO for this year, the Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India is organizing an SCO B2B Conference and National Arogya Summit on Traditional Medicine (TM) along with Ayush Export Promotion Council and FICCI at Radisson Blu Hotel, Guwahati, Assam, India from 2nd - 5th March, 2023.

Through this initiative, the Government of India urges participation from all relevant Chambers, Councils and Associations along with their members and Industry Bodies to showcase the potential of Traditional Medicine in India and promote trade. The event will provide great opportunities to the AYUSH industry to showcase their products, services and various initiatives before the Government delegations, Regulators, Business leaders and Think Tanks from SCO Countries.

The SCO B2B conference has been envisioned to be organized as a mega event and Health Ministers of all SCO and partner countries are being invited for the event. The event will provide an opportunity to the regulators, as well as the business leaders in all the SCO and partner countries to deliberate on various aspects of Traditional Medicine and deepen the trade and friendship among each other in the area of Traditional Medicine and allied field. This includes sectors like Herbal Medicines, Nutraceuticals, Herbal extracts and Service sector of Traditional Medicine, Medical Value Tourism etc.
