FICCI in association with Indian Navy is organising 3 Days Exposition scheduled from February 21 - 23, 2024 to showcase Indian Defence Industry capabilities during Indian Navy conducted Multilateral Naval Exercise named Exercise MILAN 2024 at Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

MILAN 2024 is the flagship International Naval Exercise scheduled in Visakhapatnam under the aegis of Eastern Naval Command. This will be the 12th edition of the Multilateral Naval Exercise. The theme of the Exercise is “Cohesion, Camaraderie, Collaboration” and aims to enhance professional interaction between navies, boost operational skills, foster better interoperability and encourage exchange of best practices/ procedures.

MILAN 24 is the biggest International Naval Exercise in which 50 friendly foreign countries are being invited and nearly 20 foreign warships along with one maritime patrol aircraft. In addition, a large number of Indian Navy ships, submarines and aircraft including both aircraft carriers Vikrant and Vikramaditya would be participating in the event. MILAN 24 would showcase India as a country with growing influence in the maritime domain.

MILAN 24 Technical Exposition (MTEX 24) expo will showcase capabilities of Indian Defence Industries including Maritime Systems, Sub Systems & Components of Naval Ships, Submarines, Frigates, Aviation, Boats, Armaments, Missiles, Torpedoes, Guns, Communications, Radar, Propulsion, Power Generation, Electricals, Marine, MRO & HADR areas etc and indigenisation programmes being undertaken by Indian Defence PSUs, DRDO & Industries ( Large / MSMEs / Small Scale & Start Ups) in collaboration with Indian Navy.

Hon’ble Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh is being invited to be the Chief Guest and Inaugurate the Exposition and Admiral R Hari Kumar, Chief of Naval Staff will be the Guest of Honour along with other senior Naval officials from India & Friendly Foreign Countries Navies will attend the Exposition.

A fully constructed German Hanger with shell scheme booths in the multiple of 2 m X 2m , 3 m X 3 m, 6 m X 4 m & 10 m X 10 m will be made available for the equipment display.

Furthermore, FICCI will be bringing out Equipment Catalogue of exhibiting companies capturing their product line, which will be released by Hon’ble Raksha Mantri and which will be widely distributed to Indian Defence Forces and visiting foreign friendly nation Delegations.
