Event Overview & Highlights
Hon’ble Minister of Labour and Employment, Government of India, Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, convened a virtual interaction with members of FICCI’s Furniture Committee and industry associations to explore the potential for an industry-led furniture park in Porbandar, Gujarat. This initiative is envisaged to support both the growth of the port and the city, while facilitating import and export activities.
The meeting was attended by members of the Furniture Committee including Obeetee, Ikea, Hettich India, Wooden Street; Merino Industries Ltd; Featherlite; Omega QMS; Iota Furniture; Basant; Hafele India; and Techtona Grandis Furniture, along with senior representatives of furniture associations like AFMT (Association of Furniture Manufacturers & Traders).
