Frame Your Idea 2025 Creates History: 3,233 Meetings, 450+ Writers, 70+ Producers Come Together at FICCI Frames’ Silver Jubilee Edition

October 10, 2025

MUMBAI, 10 October 2025: India’s largest curated writer–producer marketplace, Frame Your Idea (FYI), yesterday concluded its most successful edition at FICCI Frames 2025, marking a defining moment for India’s creative ecosystem.

Over 3,233 meetings took place across two days between 450+ writers and 75+ leading producers, studios, and platforms, including Dharma Productions, Excel Entertainment, Aamir Khan Productions, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YRF, Red Chillies, Applause Entertainment, Emmay Entertainment, Drishyam Films, and Irani Movietone, among others.

The Silver Jubilee edition of FICCI Frames celebrated 25 years of advancing India’s media and entertainment landscape with FYI emerging as its most dynamic initiative, built on structured access, dignity, and opportunity for storytellers.

The 2025 edition of FYI was supported by IFTDA (Indian Film & Television Directors’ Association); Writers’ Ink Institute; Kashish Pride Film Festival

Boman Irani, Actor, Filmmaker, and Founder – Irani Movietone, said, “Writers want this, but producers need this. FYI is not just a platform; it’s a wake-up call to the industry to listen, to engage, and to find the next wave of original voices. It’s heartening to see FICCI build this ecosystem of trust and structure that both sides of the table desperately need.”

Ashish Kulkarni, Chief Mentor – FICCI FYI, said, “FYI is a powerful reminder that the media and entertainment industry thrives on collaboration, courage, and creative empathy. It’s encouraging to see so many producers open their doors to new voices and diverse stories. As India’s creative economy expands, FYI will continue to be a catalyst for discovery and inclusion.”

Munjal Shroff, Chairman, FICCI AVGC & XR Forum, said, “The creative energy at FYI this year was electric. To see over 3,000 one-on-one meetings happen with focus and enthusiasm under one roof — that’s extraordinary. FYI 2025 proved how structure and heart can coexist beautifully in the creative process.”

Viraf Patell, Actor, Writer, and Creative Director – FICCI Frame Your Idea, said, “We had 3,233 meetings, but really, it was about hope, writers showing up with stories that mean something to them, and producers taking the time to listen, hoping to find their next big idea or screenplay. Frame Your Idea was built to restore dignity and access for writers, and this year, it truly felt like those walls came down. I’m deeply grateful to every producer, writer, community partner and volunteer who made this movement possible.”
