The FICCI AI Committee serves as a premier industry platform for advancing India's AI ecosystem by fostering collaboration among industry, government, academia, startups, research institutions, and international stakeholders. The Committee works towards accelerating AI adoption, promoting responsible and trustworthy AI, strengthening innovation and R&D, enhancing AI skilling and workforce readiness, and supporting the development of enabling policy and regulatory frameworks. The Committee engages closely with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), IndiaAI Mission, NITI Aayog, sectoral ministries, state governments, regulators, and other stakeholders to address opportunities and challenges arising from the rapid evolution of AI technologies. Through policy advocacy, consultations, research reports, industry recommendations, and multi-stakeholder dialogues, the Committee contributes to shaping India's AI agenda and ensuring that AI-driven growth remains inclusive, secure, and globally competitive.

The Committee collaborates with global industry associations, technology companies, multilateral organizations, research institutions, and governments to facilitate international partnerships, technology collaboration, investment opportunities, and cross-border dialogue on AI policy and governance. Through flagship initiatives such as the AI India Conclave, industry roundtables, workshops, working groups, and international delegations, the Committee actively promotes India's leadership in the global AI landscape.
