Training cum Certification Program on Low-Carbon Building Transition for Building Materials Manufacturers & Technology Providers
The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is implementing the project called “Asia Low-Carbon Building Transition (ALCBT)” in 5 Asian countries – Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
This five-year project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) under the International Climate Initiative (IKI), aims to facilitate a nationwide transition to Low Carbon Buildings (LCBs) targeted countries. GGGI is leading implementation of ALCBT project along with other consortium partners: ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), Energy Efficiency Services Ltd. (EESL), and HEAT International. One of the outcome of this project is to “Enhance capacity of current and future building industry practitioners” through comprehensive training to deliver low carbon buildings.
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is supporting GGGI in development of training delivery plan and execution of certification training programs for Material Manufacturers & Technology Provider (MMTP) in India. As part of this project, GGGI has developed training modules for key stakeholder groups comprising of Materials Manufacturers & Technology Provider.
