Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) are jointly organising FIBAC - annual banking conference on 22nd and 23rd December 2021. Given the epidemiological situation in the country and the prognosis for a possible third wave this year’s FIBAC Conference will be held digitally over a virtual platform. The proposed theme for FIBAC 2021 is ‘Resilience and Rebound’. The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is the Knowledge Partner for the conference.
Mr. Shaktikanta Das, Governor, RBI has kindly agreed to deliver the Inaugural Address at the conference.
This annual flagship conference has become the marquee event in the calendar of members of entire banking and financial sector fraternity in the country and even draws participation from different parts of the world. Over the years the conference has truly positioned itself as one of its kind in terms of knowledge dissemination and relationship building.
Building on the discussions that have taken place over the last few years and in light of the significant changes being seen on account of the first and second waves of covid -19 pandemic that have tested the strength of the country’s banking sector, this conference of industry stalwarts and global thought leaders will focus on emerging trends such as coming out stronger: planning for post covid world, credit platforms and digitization of loan process, future of fintechs and co-origination as business model, risk management including stressed asset management and finance of climate. These trends would eventually engender a new way of doing banking.
