FICCI to take Business Delegation to Sydney and Queensland from 11th to 15th April for Trade 2018

NEW DELHI, 10 April 2018: FICCI is taking a Business Delegation to Sydney and Queensland, Australia during 11-15 April 2018 for 'Trade 2018' being organized by the Government of Queensland on the sidelines of Gold Coast 2018 XXI Commonwealth Games. The business delegation would focus on Sports, Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare, Education & Training, Agriculture & Food Processing, Tourism, Film & Television and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.  

 

Trade 2018 is one of a kind business engagement for connecting the global business community. The programme offers the delegates to witness the games, and at the same time network with the government and business representatives from commonwealth countries.

 

FICCI in partnership with the Govt. of Queensland and Australia India Business Council (AIBC) will organise business meetings at both the cities.

 

The first of these events, organised in association with Consulate General of India on 12th April in Sydney, 'Business meeting with select senior industry representatives and Super Funds at the Parliament House', will have Mr. Matthew Kean, Minister for Innovation & Better Regulation, Government of New South Wales as the Guest of Honour.

 

On 13th April, at Gold Coast, Ms Annastacia Palaszczuk, Premier of Queensland and Minister for the Arts and Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India will deliver the special addresses at an exclusive India focused afternoon called 'India's Ascent'. This would be followed by a reception at the Commonwealth House.

 

FICCI's partnership with the Queensland government started in October when FICCI jointly hosted Queens Baton Relay dinner in Delhi.
