The Indian Civil Aviation sector is one of the fastest growing aviation sectors in the world and aims to become the largest by 2030. India is building new airports and expanding the existing ones to meet the growing demand via public private partnership (PPP) mode. Factors like rising low-cost carriers (LCCs), development of modern airports, 100 percent Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in scheduled airlines, advanced Information Technology (IT) interventions and growing emphasis on regional connectivity, are driving an upward trend in the Indian Civil Aviation industry.
