Confederation of Indian Food Trade and Industry (CIFTI) is the Apex body established in 1985 to cater to need of Food Industry and Trade and thereby addressing the issues and concerns of the food industry at various forms. This food regulatory wing of FICCI not only provides institutional support at the national level but also plays a pivotal role in partnering the Government and the private sector in promoting the development of food processing on the global platform.
The regulatory division actively works upon on a range of issues, including policies, capacity building, quality concerns, food laws and regulations. CIFTI-FICCI’s skills and expertise in providing information services by virtue of being the knowledge hub for the food processing industry are unmatched.
