FICCI mourns the passing away of Mr H N Ananth Kumar

NEW DELHI, 12 November 2018: It is extremely sad to learn about the untimely demise of Union Minister and veteran Parliamentarian Mr H.N. Ananth Kumar.

Mr Ananth Kumar was a remarkable leader, who entered public life at a young age and went on to serve the society with utmost diligence and compassion.

As Union Minister for Pharmaceuticals, he worked hard to push Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision and the current government�s objective of providing affordable and quality medicine to all. 

At FICCI, we were privileged to have worked under his visionary leadership in developing the India Pharma Series of programmes with the Department of Pharmaceuticals.

Mr Ananth Kumar led the CEO Roundtable Discussions with pharmaceutical industry leaders on many occasions to resolve issues, which have led to the growth and development of the sector.

We all at FICCI offer our sincere condolences and wish that God gives his family and near and dear ones courage to bear this irreparable loss.
