Reputational benefit from generosity brings happiness: Chris Anderson, Founder-TED

NEW DELHI, 17 December 2021: Mr Chris Anderson, Founder, TED,
today said that there exists reputational benefit from generosity, which in
turn triggers response, which finally brings happiness.
Addressing FICCI's Annual Convention
& 94th AGM on the theme India Beyond 75, Mr Anderson spoke about his views on the 'Power of Strategic Generosity in Transforming Companies Reputation', where he
said that strategic generosity is audacious generosity with a lot of benefits.
Mr Anderson, in his address, further stated, "There are numerous things that you can give away- your biggest digital asset,
that is knowledge; and it is easy to share digital knowledge."
Speaking at the event, Mr Uday
Shankar, President, FICCI emphasized, "Corporations are powerful
actors in the society. They have the opportunity to shape the world around them
and to influence global leaders."
President-Elect, FICCI, Mr Sanjiv
Mehta, highlighted that the joy of giving and the joy of generosity is
imbibed our ancient culture.
