FICCI and Climate Bonds Initiative have launched the Indian Green Bonds Council. The aim of the council is to propose solutions towards the development of a green bonds market in India and enable capital market flows into clean energy. The Council has met thrice in the past and organized several interactions with various investors including a roundtable on 27 July 2017 in Mumbai to discuss the SEBI Green Bonds Guidelines.
