Overview

India is the world’s fourth-largest agrochemicals producer. It has enormous potential for directly contributing to India’s economic growth by becoming a global manufacturing and export hub, in addition to playing a critical role in ensuring the country’s food security. Thus, it could go a long way towards realising the vision of ‘ Aatmanirbhar Bharat’. The 12th Agrochemicals sector is scheduled to be held on 13th October 2023 from 1000 hrs to 1800 hrs. A single platform to bring together officials from Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals and Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India, Industry leaders from Agrochemicals sector, academicians, farmers, subject matter experts from the chemicals and agriculture sector under one virtual roof to discuss India’s current positioning, highlight the growth opportunities, and the potential challenges that need to be addressed for India to take the growth of the industry to the next highest level.
