Overview

India and Australia have entered into an Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA) in April 2022 to provide duty-free access to several goods across different sectors. The India-Australia education partnership is an important pillar of the ECTA. The two countries have signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to promote academic collaborations, with a focus on higher education and research. The purpose of the FICCI Higher Education Delegation to Australia will provide the Indian stakeholders an opportunity to understand and experience the Australian model of higher and technical education, policy reforms and gain broad exposure of the robust research and Innovation ecosystem in the country.
