FICCI Taskforce on  Fragrance  announces its 2nd edition of FICCI  Fragrance  Business Summit in collaboration with Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). This edition's theme is 'Emerging Sustainable Opportunities- Inclusive Growth of Fragrance Industry' scheduled for 5th October 2023 from 9 am onwards at FICCI, Federation House, New Delhi. 
 The Summit will witness sharing of perspectives by various functionaries of Government of India, Industry CEOs, research institutes, standards agencies and business associations, from India and abroad, on key issues facing the industry and opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.  

The Fragrance and Flavour industry is a key growth sector in the country today. It has witnessed growth averaging 11% over the recent years and contributes in excess of 500m USD in a global market of USD 24 billion. The industry is expected to grow at an accelerated rate of 15% in the coming years.

Given the rising importance of this sector. FICCI along with BIS through this summit, aims to provide a single platform to all the relevant stake holders of the fragrance value chain and encourage deliberations for safe use of fragrance, sustainability, education and skill enhancement, scaling up exports and the regulatory environment.

FICCI Fragrance taskforce is chaired by Mr. Michael Carlos, Chairman Emeritus, IFRA (The International Fragrance Association) and Co-Chaired by Ms. Bhuvana Nageshwaran, Director – F&F, Ultra International Limited.
