Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) is organizing 14th edition of Annual Conference on Textile and Apparel Industry “TAG 2023” with the theme “Textile Industry’s Amrit Kaal: Roadmap to US$350 Billion Market by 2030” as per the following schedule:

•    Venue: Hotel Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai

Currently, Indian Textile and Apparel industry is worth US$ 153 bn and is projected to grow at 10% CAGR to reach US$350 Bn by 2030. To reach this target India needs to align its vision across the value chain and create the roadmap for achieving the same.  Post covid, sector is witnessing a boost in the demand and is also being supported by the government in form of PLI, MITRA and TTDS schemes.  These schemes coupled with strong opportunities in Global Textile market can strengthen Indian companies in enhancing India’s share in Global supply chain and double the exports in next couple of years, provided a focused roadmap to achieve these numbers is diligently followed. 

With this background, FICCI TAG 2023 will deliberate on theme of Textile Industry’s Amrit Kaal: Roadmap for US$ 350 Billion Market by 2030 among industry leaders and policymakers and share implementable action points to increase investments and employment in the textile sector.
