Indian Army is conducting Annual Joint HADR 2024 exercise named SANYUKT VIMOCHAN 2024 between India and Friendly Foreign Countries with the theme “Cyclone in Coastal Region of Gujarat”. The exercise aims at improving synergy between all stakeholders responsible for Disaster Management. Other services alongwith Central and State authorities/ organizations responsible for disaster relief like Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force & Indian Coast Guard, CAPFs (BSF, CRPF, NDRF), Gujarat State Govt HADR Machinery (SDMA, State Emergency Ops Center, SRPF & SDRF), NDMA, INCOIS, IMD, ISRO, NRSC & NIDM have been integrated in the exercise to streamline HADR procedures.

Approximately a total no of 100 delegates/representatives from 10 Friendly Foreign Countries (Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam) forming part of Gulf Cooperation Council & Indian Ocean Region block will attend the exercise and industry display as observers for the exercise.

One day Industry Equipment Display on November 19, 2024, at Chowpatty Beach, Porbandar, Gujarat is being organized by FICCI during Annual Joint HADR (Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief) Exercise. The industrial display will be an excellent opportunity to showcase Indian industries indigenously built Defence and HADR equipment and capability to the visiting countries as a potential export market.

HADR - Disaster response Tools, Specialized Medical Equipment, Survival Equipment, Search & Rescue, Detection tools, Advanced Communication Systems, Disaster logistic Solutions etc.

Non HADR/ Niche Technology/ New Industry Technology - Surveillance, Artificial Intelligence, UAVs, Robotics, UGVs, Medical Communication Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Clean & Green Energy, Small Arms, Firepower, Logistics and Medical Drones, Precision fires, Electric Vehicles, Block chain & Quantum, Augmented & Virtual Reality, Situational Awareness and Common Robotics Systems.

4 Stall Sizes in multiple of 10 m X 06 m / 6 m X 6 m / 3 m X 3 m and 2 m X 2 m will be made available for the equipment display for Private Sector companies, DPSUS, DRDO, NDRF, SDRF and other key players etc. Furthermore, FICCI will be bringing out an Equipment / Product Catalogue capturing the equipment displays, which will be widely distributed.
