Renewable Energy Developers Taskforce
Government has committed to raise non-fossil fuel-based energy capacity to 500 GW by 2030 and achieving net-zero emissions by 2070. The Government’s commitment has provided a big thrust for the renewable energy sector to grow and so the ability of the industry to work jointly with the government will be critical in making the sector viable and sustainable in the long run.
To support the government in its quest to enhance renewable energy adoption, FICCI has constituted a Renewable Energy Developer Task Force.
The Task Force aims to work towards developing and evolving a consolidated industry position for the creation of a sustainable renewable energy ecosystem in the country. The Task Force through its policy and regulatory interventions and recommendations, aims to work synergistically with the government to realize India’s renewable energy commitments.
