The Council has been set up to focus on policy advocacy for a sustainable mobility ecosystem in the country and provide strategic direction for short, medium, and long-term growth of the sustainable mobility sector in India. The Council has set its direction based on the recommendations of the India Roadmap on Low Carbon and Sustainable Mobility brought out by FICCI in 2020.
