COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly impacted all socio-economic aspects of our lives, while also inspiring promising innovations, particularly in digital healthcare models. From the telemedicine guidelines being announced in March 2020 to the launch of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) and ABHA Health Cards recently, we have already started to see the digital era in Indian healthcare take shape.

FICCI has been supporting the National Health Authority (NHA) through numerous consultations and inputs for the National Health Stack; National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) Blueprint, NDHM Policy as well as its implementation. FICCI also facilitated pilots for NDHM implementation and Sandbox testing with private hospitals and labs across the country, with specific focus in Union Territories.

The Task Force has collated and submitted Feedback on NDHM Consultation Papers released by NHA on Healthcare Professionals Registry, Health Facility Registry, Unified Health Interface (UHI), Proposed Health Data Retention Policy (HDRP).
